Introduction

There are 3 Royal Gourmet ® models which are similar in appearance but different in sizes and functions. Those 3 models are GB2000, GB4000 and GB8000. Curious to know what set(s) them apart from one another and are there any common features they share? Read through this short article to help you find the answers.

Common Features

1. The burners are all built of durable stainless steel which can distribute heat evenly and last years to come.

2. They all feature a stainless steel control panel which is durable in quality and stylish in appearance. The electronic ignition system shared by all ensures quick and easy startup with each easy push. The big knobs on the panel make it easier to adjust heat to your desired temperature ranging from low to high.

3. All 3 models come with 2 foldable side tables providing sufficient space for food preparation and tool placement.

4. In terms of holding capacity of the side table, the maximum weight each can handle reaches 25 LB.

5. All these models sit on 4 lockable casters with which they are able to move around freely, and fix on the ground firmly when wheels are locked in.

Major Differences

1. Cooking Performance. While it's the same that each individual burner comes with 13,000 BTUs in output, different numbers of burners for theses 3 models lead to different cooking performance. GB2000 includes 2 burners with 26,000 BTUs in total; GB4000 comes with 4 burners with 52,000 BTUs in total; GB8000 boasts 8 burners with the total output reaching the impressive 104,000 BTUs! As a matter of fact, the striking contrast in their cooking performance determines completely different occasions on which each model is possibly to be used. It's obvious that the powerful GB8000 is born for big parties or large catering events, while GB2000 and GB4000 can be used to prepare a breakfast or family dinner.

2. Two Separate Grilling Areas. GB8000 supporting gas system includes 2 sets of separate regulators which facilitate stable and even flame.

3. Cooking Area. As each is featured with distinctive cooking performance, the cooking area for each also varies. GB2000 comes with the cooking area of 449 square inches, GB 4000 with 660 square inches, and GB 8000 with amazing 950 square inches!

4. Griddle Top Thickness. GB2000 and GB4000 are both griddles, but GB8000 is a grill. For GB2000, the top thickness is 3.5mm with pre-seasoned surface; for GB4000, it's 4.5mm also with pre-seasoned surface.

5. Grease Collection System. Though all 3 are featured with large-capacity grease collection system, GB8000 is obviously more superior to its counterparts in that it boasts 2 removable grease drip pans and 2 removable grease drip cups. This ensures easy cleanup for this huge grill!

6. Bottom Shelf. All 3 models come with a bottom shelf but there's a slight difference in design. You can notice that for GB2000, the bottom shelf comes with a single layer, but for GB4000 and GB8000, the bottom shelves are both double-layered. This is on the one hand to prevent customers from placing a gas cylinder on the shelf which is unsafe; and on the other hand provides more possibilities for you to place tools or condiments.

Conclusion

You can expect the same aftersales service for all these 3 models. All the parts have a one-year warranty which is identical to most brands' gas grill. It comes with an assembly manual, and you can download an owner's manual online. If you can't find the information you're looking for, you can contact Customer Support via phone or email.
