RECIPE

Seafood

INTRODUCTION

This recipe is easy to make without too many complicated processes, but sometimes you have to admit that the simplest is the best. When you are preparing the ingredients, make sure that you buy whole squid, as you won’t want to see that precut rings slip through your grates. The recipe here can yield 4 servings.

Vegetable oil (for grilling)
1½ pound cleaned squid
2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

1

Set your grill at high heat and lightly oil the grates with vegetable oil.

2

In a large bowl toss squid with sesame oil and season with salt and pepper.

3

Time to grill. It’s recommended to grill squid for about 3 minutes, until lightly charred and cooked through. During grilling, remember to flip occasionally.

4

Now you can cut bodies crosswise into thin rings for serving. Time to savor!
