INTRODUCTION

 
 

 

Eating fish is a great choice for whose who don't want to put on weight by having too much. Salmon is one of the most welcomed fishes as it is very nutritious, containing rich Omega 3 that is beneficial to our body health. Moreover, it is delicious after simple grilling from even a green hand. All you need to do is to pick up a fresh salmon part and marinate it well!

 

 

 

 

 

 

1 pound salmon fillet, about 1’’ thick, cut into 3 pieces
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp honey
freshly ground black pepper
kosher salt, to taste
lemon zest, to taste
1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro

Mix the seasoning all together (except cilantro) into a bowl and put it into a resealable bag, throw the salmon pieces in and seal it, massaging them all over with marinade. Refrigerate for 2 hours and take out, discard the marinade.

Preheat the grill to a high heat and lightly oil the grate.

Put the salmon pieces on the grate with flesh side down, close the lid and wait for about 7-8 minutes until they get finely cooked with beautiful sear marks. You don't have to flip the salmon into the other side as it will also be cooked well for that time.

Move the salmon onto the plate, spray some finely chopped cilantro for flavor and decoration.
