Cajun Chicken Pasta

 

There are a sea of grilled chicken recipes. As a big fan of grilled chicken, I keep looking for great chicken recipes. Cajun style chicken recipe is one of my favourite. It’s a little spicy and really delicious. The unique smokey flavor delivered from grills brings the whole dish to a better flavor. After my first time trying this recipe, my families keep asking me for it again and again.


Today I’m going to introduce the Cajun chicken recipe with pasta. It’s just so good and you are going to love it.

 

Ingredients you’ll need:

Chicken breasts

Pasta

Bell peppers

Onions

Mushrooms

1 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp cayenne pepper

2 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp dried thyme

1 tsp black pepper

3 tbsp butter, melt

Salt to taste

Royal Gourmet Barbecue Tongs

Royal Gourmet Silicone Barbecue Brush

Royal Gourmet Gas Grill SG6002

 

 

Cajun style food usually goes with shrimps or pork sausages, however, it’s great in chickens as well.

If you haven’t tried it yet, this recipe is probably a good start.

 

Mix the cumin powder, cayenne, paprika, dried thyme, black pepper, onion and garlic powder all together. Sprinkle a pinch of salt to taste.

 

Get your chicken breasts ready. As for pasta recipes, the boneless chicken breast is an ideal meat option. With Royal Gourmet silicone barbecue brush, apply some melt butter on the chicken breasts on both sides. After that, rub over with the seasoning you just made.

For those who love spicy food, adding some red chili flakes would be a nice kick.

 

While the chicken breasts are well coated with the seasoning, put them aside for 1-2 hours, letting the flavors get into the meat.

 

Preheat your Royal Gourmet grill. It’s suggested to use the gas grill with a side burner, for example the 6-burner gas grill SG6002, as you can deal with the vegetables and pastas simultaneously on the side burner.

 

Dice the bell peppers and slice the mushrooms and onions, put aside for later use.

 

While the chicken breasts are well marinated, place them upon grill grates over medium heat. Cook 5-7 minutes on each side or until the instant meat thermometer reads 165 Fahrenheit.

 

Transfer the freshly grilled chicken breasts on a cutting board and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Meanwhile, boil some water and add the pasta, and place the vegetables upon grill with a vegetable basket.

 

Grill the vegetables and impart the lovely smokey flavor.

 

While the peppers, mushrooms and onions are well cooked, and the pasta is ready. Your phenomenal Cajun chicken pasta is almost done.

 

In a big bowl, add the pasta, grilled veggies and sliced chicken breasts. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle a little salt and pepper to taste. Keep tossing until everything is well blended.

 

Finish with some shredded cheese on top. The exceptional delicious Cajun chicken is done.

 

The recipe only requires some basic simple ingredients and is easy to achieve. Next time if you are thinking of a recipe for families, try this one and everybody will be satisfied.
