Delicious Turkey Burgers

Turkey burgers are great options if you are looking for an alternative to beef burgers or chicken burgers. In this recipe, the turkey burgers are so juicy and flavorful, which is perfect for grill parties. Moreover, turkey contains a big amount of protein and is good for the health. If you haven’t tried turkey burgers yet, this recipe is something you can’t miss.

Ingredients you’ll need:

Ground turkey

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Garlic cloves, chopped

Fresh parsley, chopped

Tools you’ll need:

Royal Gourmet Barbecue Tongs

Royal Gourmet Burger Patty Press

Royal Gourmet Instant Meat Thermometer

Grills Recommended:

Royal Gourmet Gas Grill SG6002

Royal Gourmet Charcoal Grill with Offset Smoker CC1830F

Speaking of making burgers, ground turkey is a great substitute for beef. Get some ground turkey and put it in a large bowl. In the same bowl, add olive oil to keep the meat moist, and add the rest ingredients accordingly. Mix all the ingredients well with your hand.

Until the turkey is well blended with spices, you are ready to form burger patties.

If you want to keep your turkey patties in a similar and regular size, use Royal Gourmet burger patty press, which can help you forming nice patties with ease. The patties made should be neither too thick nor too thin. 1/2 inch is just perfect.

Don’t forget to press with your finger right in the middle of the patties, just like making your regular burgers.

Preheat your grill and lightly grease the grates with oil. When the grill is nice and hot, place the turkey patties upon grill over medium high heat and let the grill do its job.

It is noticeable that you’d better flip the patties only once, in order to reduce the loss of juices. With Royal Gourmet instant meat thermometer, check the internal temperature. When it reaches 160-165 degree, the turkey is ready to go. It takes approximately 8-10 minutes in total.

About 1 minute before the patties are done, place your favourite cheese on them, and place the buns on the grates to get that lovely grill marks.

While the meat is still cooking even when it leaves grill, rest the turkey patties on a cutting board for 5 minutes.

Serve with your favourite vegetables and sauce.

Turkey is not only for holiday. Anytime you are in the mood, you can make delicious turkey burgers in backyard. Especially when you got lots of guests, it is a great food to impress them in party. The juicy, smokey and flavorful turkey burgers will surely win over all of your guests.
