Grilled Chicken Sandwich

Chicken salad sandwich is a great for daily meals. It’s tasty, healthy, and easy to make. With this recipe, you can prepare weekday meals for family with ease. On the other hand, if you have some left over chicken breasts from weekend party, it would be awesome to make the best use of the chicken.

Ingredients you’ll need:

Chicken breast

Olive oil

1 cup mayonnaise

1/4 tsp ground black pepper

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp paprika

Celery, sliced

Tomato, sliced

You will hardly fail in making this chicken salad sandwich, as it’s really easy to make.

 

Get your chicken breasts ready. Drizzle with some olive oil and sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. There’s no need of complicated spices to marinate the chicken.

 

Preheat your Royal Gourmet grill, put the lid down.

 

While the grill is nice and hot, lightly oil the grill grates and it’s time to grill. With Royal Gourmet barbecue tongs, transfer the seasoned chicken breasts upon grill over medium high heat.

 

When you are enjoying the sizzling music from your grill, don’t forget to flip the breasts after 8-10 minutes of grilling. You’ll see how beautiful the marks they got from the grill. Let the other side cook for another 8-10 minutes.

 

Check the doneness of your chicken breasts. When they are no longer pink and juice come out is clean, it’s time to transfer them to the cutting board.

 

Let the chicken rest for a couple of minutes, during which time you can toast your favourite bread slices, getting them the unique smokey flavor as well as the lovely grill marks.

 

Slice the fresh celery and tomatoes and prepare some lettuce for making the sandwich.

 

Dice the freshly grilled chicken breasts.

 

As for the sauce of chicken salad, add mayonnaise, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper in a small bowl, whisk to combine.

In a big bowl, put diced chicken and sliced celery. You can add some extra nuts if you want, such as cashew and walnuts. Add the salad sauce and keep tossing, making everything well coated with the tasty sauce.

 

The celery chicken salad is then done.

Take the toasted bread slices and spread some mayonnaise on. Add the grilled chicken salad, tomato slices and lettuce respectively. Complete each sandwich by topping with slices of toasted bread.

 

If you have the chicken breasts grilled in your party on weekends, this is a perfect way to transfer the leftover chicken breasts into savory repast. Besides, you can have grilled food every day!
