Delicious Turkey Wings

  

You don’t have to wait until thanksgiving to enjoy turkey, and you don’t have to grill up a whole bird neither. Anytime when you fire up your grill, you can always enjoy meaty and flavorful grilled turkey. Apart from legs and breast, turkey wings are actually a great choice for a summer day’s lunch or dinner.


In today’s recipe, we are going to grill turkey wings in Royal Gourmet charcoal grill. It’s easy, tasty and really worth trying. If you haven’t grilled turkey wings before, remember to check this recipe out.

 

Ingredients you’ll need:

Turkey wings

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp paprika

1 cup orange marmalade

1/3 cup honey

1/3 cup sriracha sauce

1/3 cup brown sugar

 

Tools you’ll need:

Royal Gourmet Barbecue Tongs

Royal Gourmet Chimney Starter

Royal Gourmet Silicone Barbecue Brush

Most of you must have grilled chicken wings before, similarly, it’s not that hard to grill turkey wings. Compared with chicken wings, turkey wings are relatively larger and meatier, which is a good news for those meat lovers.

 

Mix the salt, pepper and paprika well. Take your turkey wings and cut off the tips.

Drizzle with some olive oil on both sides. Simply rub all around and coat the wings well with the salt mixture.

Let the wings marinate for at least 30 minutes.

 

Prepare the sauce by blending the marmalade, honey, sriracha and brown sugar. Whisk to a good combine. Reserve for basting.

 

It is recommended to grill the wings in a charcoal grill. Nothing compares the smokey flavor from charcoal grills. Add some soaked hickory woods if you want extra wood flavor.

Light up your Royal Gourmet charcoal grill CC1830F, and build up two heat zones. Adjust the temperature to medium by adding or reducing charcoals.

 

Place the turkey wings on grates over indirect heat. Put the lid down and let the grill do its magic. With the lid covered, grill the wings for approximately 1 hour.

 

30 minutes before the wings are done, take the reserved marmalade mixture and baste frequently with Royal Gourmet barbecue silicone brush.


The sauce keeps the wings moist and adds more layers of flavor, and the appealing hue makes the wings even more mouthwatering.

 

Once the turkey wings are done, transfer to a cutting board. Rest until cool down and serve with lemon wedges.
