Chicken Breast

You may have tried loads of tomato sauce or BBQ sauce based grilled chicken, which are truly delicious and are favored by most of the people, however, for those who don’t have a heavy taste or are looking for something new, this fresh and flavorful chicken recipe is the one you are going to try.

Many people eat chicken breast going for its lean protein, yet very often it’s overcooked. With this easy recipe, we wish you a success when next time you are grilling chicken breast.

Ingredients you’ll need:

Chicken breast

Fresh juice from one lemon

Fresh juice from one orange

1/2 tbsp onion powder

1 tbsp dried rosemary

1 tbsp dried parsley

1 tsp ground black pepper

1 tsp seasoning salt

Tools you’ll need:

Royal Gourmet Barbecue Tongs

In a Ziploc bag squeeze the fresh juice from a lemon and an orange. Put the chicken breast in the juice, refrigerate for at least an hour.

Mix the onion powder, dried rosemary and parsley, salt and pepper in a bowl. The flavors from these ingredients get together and will help you enjoy the chicken meat flavor even more. The acid from orange and lemon juice matches the herbs pretty well.

Take the chicken breast out from fridge, drain and discard the juice. Sprinkle the rub over on both sides of the breast.

Preheat your Royal Gourmet grill to medium high, keep the lid covered for 10 minutes. Oil the grates lightly.

With Royal Gourmet barbecue tongs, place the marinated chicken breast on grates directly over medium high heat.

It takes 8-10 minutes for each side to cook, yet the time varies depending on the thickness of your chicken breast. Keep spraying the mixture of orange juice and water if you have a sprayer.

Meanwhile, cut the extra lemons into halves and grill them with the cut side down.

Once the chicken breast is done, which means the juice is clear and the meat is no longer pink, transfer them to a cutting board with another barbecue tongs.

Rest for 10 minutes and slice. Serve the chicken with grilled lemon.

The freshness from lemon and orange juice makes the chicken breast even more fragrant. The squeeze of grilled lemon juice impart extra smokey flavor to the bird.

In your backyard party, impress these picky mouths with this tender and juice chicken breast, and you’ll surely have all the thumbs up.
