Butter Garlic Ribeye Steak


Every griller is dreaming of making his own significant steak. A perfect steak must be juicy inside and slightly charred outside with exceptional smokey flavor. As a matter of fact, it’s not a hard task. As long as you got a good-quality steak and excellent-performance grill, you are half way done.

There are different ways of grilling ribeye steaks, among which this butter garlic recipe is simply a cut above others. Once you tried it, you’ll never forget.


Ingredients you’ll need:

1 ribeye steak

Olive oil

Kosher salt

Ground black pepper

2 garlic cloves

1/2 cup butter

Royal Gourmet Silicone Barbecue Brush



If your ribeye steak is taken out of the fridge, remember to rest it until it reaches room temperature, in which case your steak won’t be hot outside while cold inside after grilling.

Drizzle olive oil on both sides of the steak. Sprinkle kosher salt and ground black pepper to taste.


Preheat your Royal Gourmet grill to medium high heat. Either gas or charcoal grill works fine, as long as you control the temperature well.


Chop the garlic cloves finely and add to melt butter. Whisk to a good combine, letting the flavors of garlic and butter get together well. Preserve for basting later.


While your grill is nice and hot, place the ribeye steak upon grill over direct heat. The moment when steak reaches the grates, the sizzling sound produced is probably a griller’s favourite music.


Over medium high heat, sear the ribeye steak for 4-6 minutes on each side, flip once with Royal Gourmet barbecue tongs.


During the grilling, keep basting the butter mixture with Royal Gourmet silicone barbecue brush.


Transfer the steak to a cutting board when it gets browned nicely.


Rest the freshly grilled steak for at least 10 minutes, serve with vegetable salad.
