Smoked Beef Burger

  

We all had beef burgers before, but how about smoked beef burgers? The smokey flavor from charcoals and woods is irresistible. A perfect smoked beef burger should be delicious not only in patties, but also in vegetables and buns. As for me, the ultimate beef burgers are the ones I made at home.


In today’s recipe, the smoked beef burger recipe will be introduced. Hopefully you are able to make perfect burgers on your own after reading.

 

 

Ingredients you’ll need:

3-4 garlic cloves

Ground beef

Onions, finely chopped

Your favourite bacon

Fresh tomato

Lettuce

Your favourite cheese

Olive oil

Salt and pepper

Royal Gourmet CC1830F Charcoal Grill with Offset Smoker

 

 

I do enjoy the great flavor from beef itself, therefore it’s not recommended to over season it. Here I’ll simply use kosher salt and fresh ground pepper to taste.

 

Mince the garlic and chop the onions finely, mix with the ground beef.

 

When the beef, garlic and onions are well mixed, use Royal Gourmet burger press to form patties loosely.

 

Sprinkle salt and pepper accordingly.

 

The grill used plays a significant role in smoking burgers. Make sure that it’s easy and convenient for you to control the temperature. If you are using gas grill, you can also smoke with Royal Gourmet smoker box.

 

The grill used here is Royal Gourmet charcoal grill CC1830F. Fire up the charcoals and add the soaked hickory woods in the offset smoker.

 

While the temperature is medium low, place the seasoned burger patties on grates in the main firebox. The patties will be cooked indirectly under low heat, which takes approximately 45 minutes, flip once.


When the patties are nearly done, cut the lettuce into half and slice the tomatoes. Drizzle with olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Place the bacons, lettuce, tomato slices and buns on grates in the offset smoker, grill for a couple of minutes, giving them that unique wood flavor.

 

1 minute before the burger patties are done, place your favourite cheese on the top to let it melt perfectly.

 

Transfer the freshly smoked beef patties on a platter or cutting board as well as the other ingredients, and you are ready to dress up your burgers.
