Grill Fish with Royal Gourmet

Grill Fish with Royal Gourmet

As well as beef, chicken and pork, fish is a great food that can be cooked in a grill.

The natural flavor from fish together with the smokey flavor from grill will absolutely delight your mouth and stomach.

The texture of fish meat is relatively more delicate, compared with those common choices such as beef, chicken and pork. In that case, there comes some different ways in order to grill fish perfectly.

For the ones with firmer texture, like salmon, tuna, halibut and sword fish, you can cook them directly on grate, as the meat will not fall apart easily. For the other kinds of fish which are coming with more delicate texture, it is wise to grill with a foil packet or barbecue wok, so that you can have all meat collected.

Today we will introduce a wonderful recipe of grilled fish, which you can try at home with ease.

Ingredients you’ll need:

Fish fillets (salmon or tuna)

White wine

1 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup sea salt

Black pepper

Tools you’ll need:

Royal Gourmet Round Non-Stick Wok

Royal Gourmet Square Non-Stick Wok Topper

Royal Gourmet Barbecue Tongs

Royal Gourmet Barbecue Spatula

Take a bowl and add white wine, brown sugar and sea salt respectively. Stir to a good mixture, so that the sugar and salt melt in wine.

Marinate the fish fillet with the wine mixture for about 1 hour, meanwhile preheat your grill. Fish is usually grilled under medium heat. If you are using a charcoal grill, remember to build two heat zones.

As it is mentioned above, fish meat is relatively more delicate. It is fine to grill salmon fillet or tuna fillet directly on grates, however, in case the meat fall apart during processing such as flipping, placing a good-quality non-stick wok over the grates is a wise choice.

Place the fish fillets carefully in the wok, sprinkle some salt and pepper the way you like it. Close the lid and let them cook for 3-5 minutes.

Flip the fish with Royal Gourmet barbecue spatula, and grill for another 3-5 minutes, letting the meat become opaque and the surface slightly charred.

When the fish achieves a crispy outside, take the wok out and let the fish rest for 5-10 minutes, during which time the fish will continue cooking.

In the end, serve the fish with some vegetable salad.

All you need to do is just open your mouth and enjoy this delicious natural flavor. A single bite will make you feel like swimming in a great ocean. Try this recipe next time, and I think you’ll fall in love with grilled fish, just like me.
